BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept LIVE at 2010 Frankfurt Motor Show

The new BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept was officially unveiled at a preview event to the IAA in Frankfurt. Company chair and CEO Dr. Norbert Reithofer said something very interesting regarding his circle̢۪s chosen outlook powertrain solution.

â€Å“The car wishes to evolve through innovation,” said Reithofer . â€Å“We are the engines more effective and make the compute of vehicle technology more optimally. In addition, Hybrid is also for us a temporary solution. And especially for large metropolitan areas, a car is required for electric source. We will resume our research work which hydrogen affection.”

The 2+2 seater BMW Vision Concept is powered by a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo diesel hybrid engine with a totality approach output of 262kW (356 hp) and maximum torque 800Nm (590 lb-ft). It goes to all four wheels via two electric motors located on both the front and rear axles. The 0 – 100km/h tear time is 4.8 seconds and pike velocity is electronically imperfect to 250km/h.

The car̢۪s acceleration and top speed performance are stunning considering it has an usual fuel consumption body of 3.76 litres/100 km (75.1 mpg imp) and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.

New Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept Revealed

The all-new exclusive Bugatti 16 C Galibier Concept car has revealed at a private event in Molsheim. The Bugatti CEO Franz-Josef Paefgen describes the Galibier is one of several concept studies with which the company is considering for the future of the marque.

The new Galibier Concept powered by a 8-litre 16-cylinder flex-fuel engine with two-stage supercharging. It could produce between 588kW (800hp) and 735kW (1,000hp), all which is channeled to all four wheels using the AWD system. Standard fuel is gasoline but ethanol can be used as an alternative. To cease it operation away from the driver is a set of effective carbon ceramic brakes.
